Rebel Femme is a labour of love born out of a need to bring feminism, social justice, and activism to the forefront of film making. All projects are collaborative in nature to promote leadership, mentorship and authenticity in feminist film.
Passionate feminist, educator, filmmaker, actor, and activist who incorporates her rebellious heart into all endeavours. Kaitlyn is a multi-disciplinary artist who truly believes in the power of film as activism. She uses filmmaking as a means to create space for marginalized folks to engage in the arts, to tell authentic stories with social justice narratives, and to create the change she wants to see in the world.
Professional assistive technologist and learning disability specialist with a love for creative digital art, especially for film and 3D design/animation. Being a person born with an invisible disability and having a background in accessibility, gives her an unique outlook on life that has helped her find herself amazing (and sometimes worst) experiences that she occasionally translates them through her works. Most of the time, however, she is just happy to collaborate! She is a huge supporter of gender justice, feminism, disability advocacy and the LGBTQ2S+ rights.
